Paper Planes originated from a fabric design based around graph paper: its shape comes from the folding and modeling of paper as an exploration of form and structure, to create angles, lines and polygons. Its seeming simplicity demands masterful sartorial skill: the lines of the fabric must be perfectly aligned with the geometry of the chair which means that there is no room for error.
Injected flame-retardant polyurethane foam over internal steel frame. Base is square tubular steel with matte-coated finish; glides are steel with chrome finish. Paper planes collection covers are not removable.
