Developed in collaboration with Studio Œ, Bascule combines the relaxed aesthetic of a loose-fitting fabric cover with a new Vitra seat mechanism that allows automatic weight adjustment.
Premiering early this year in Copenhagen at 3daysofdesign, we're thrilled to introduce their newest collection to Seattle during a special wellness-focused event in our Capitol Hill showroom.
The evening features James Rose, award-winning organizational psychologist, executive coach and cognitive hypnotherapist. Rose will lead a discussion on the psychology of relaxation while guests sip wellness beverages from Santé, test the new chair, and listen to a new custom Spotify mix curated by Vitra.

Lisa Ertel and Anne-Sophie Oberkrome founded Studio Πin 2021 and have been working closely with Vitra since 2025. Studio Πdevelops projects grounded in material and context, understood as active components of the conceptual approach.
Design is viewed as an open-ended process transforming insights and observations from everyday life into meaningful, precisely articulated solutions. The duo’s projects navigate the intersection of functional objects, spatial interventions and exploratory gestures.
